Africa’s
Hope is a non-profit Christian organization committed to the process
of rekindling and rebuilding hope for a generation that continues
to live in abject poverty. Africa’s Hope founder Douglas Yeboah-Awusi
was born and raised in Ghana and came to the United States in 1988.
He started Africa’s Hope to build hospitals and support schools
in rural Ghana so the people in these remote areas will have access
to quality medical care and education. The outreach has grown into
starting an orphanage, micro-financing for women, farming, a prison
ministry and well drilling.
Wells for Relief’s role is to help supply Africa’s Hope
with the needed drilling equipment, training, and funding so they
can supply the much needed clean water for their projects and the
surrounding communities. |
